    hi so im going to be getting a 1962 e 100 with the 144 straight six but it needs a new gas tank and a start solenoid is there a store online where i could get that along with some accersories that came with the van back in the day.? Thanks

    You won't find a gas tank anywhere that is a direct fit, they just don't make them.  You can fix yours or do the 20 gal Mustang tank conversion (Search for it on this site).  Starter solenoids are easy, your local store will have them.  I used one for a late 80s F250 because I like the mounting better.  You don't have to use the same style, a solenoid is a solenoid (although they are really a relay, not sure why solenoid was ever used to describe it).  Your stock one was used in many Ford models so it is easy to get ahold of.

    Accessories are another story, all depends on what you are looking for but you will be limited to guys on here, ebay, and possibly CL.   Good Luck.

    Welcome to VV crash...Options are limited that's for sure. But when you're looking to upgrade, you will want a 67 dual master cyl. and get rid of that single fruit jar under the floor. 67 is the only year for the dual system for these vans and trucks. Best upgrade for these...then later look at a disc brake setup for the front. Can't waite to see some pics when you get her home.
