Thanks guys. Last year I looked into purchasing a header kit from Cliffords. ClasicsInline or Cliffords sell the kits for early vans. My van is a 61 with the starter located higher up on the engine. After much research and a few emails from Mike Cook who was more than helpful with a newbie stranger, I ended up purchasing a header kit off a fellow VV member who had what I needed and was not going to put them on his van. I purchased the zoomies off eBay and I still see them for sale on there to date. I paid $350 for mine and thought it was fair. Last thing was a pair of mufflers. In an email from Mike Cook he stated the Magnaflow two chamber mufflers gave off a good sound. Van went in the shop, headers went right on without too much trouble, hanging the zoomies pretty much was a custom fitting. Header right to Zoomies was a thought and to run straight exhaust. Not much room under there so the zoomies had to be cut and shortened and two Cherry Bomb GlassPacks were welded in.

Four 1 3/4 tubes come out on each side. We angled them backwards before welding and it looked okay. I decided to have them stick out straight and angle up. I purchased 8 "rain caps" that will cover each tube and bounce up and down to complete the look.

Hoping to get a nice YouTube video uploaded of the van soon.
