What is this part?

I was cleaning up around the van and noticed this on the ground. I've cleaned it up with a wire wheel. It's 2 inches across the longest part. I'm in the middle of a disc brake upgrade and Kingpin replacement, but I don't recall seeing this. Any ideas?

that goes with the front and rear brakes ,it keeps the shoes in place and the springs hold it in place.

Drum brakes only.

Thanks everyone. I remember now. I must have missed picking it up when I was gathering up all the old drum hardware. I'll keep it in my misc parts bin if anyone needs it. thanks again.
