Recommendations for 4-post lifts Empty Recommendations for 4-post lifts

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on quality brands and pros and cons of a 4-post life, to be used for storage of vehicles. I now have a place for one cheers and want to get one that is good quality and not have one car on top of another.

Some questions that I have would be:
anyone has used the lift jacks that are an option for them.
How do the casters work on a lift?
do the drip pans cover entire car below?
    ??? Question

Thanks for all that can help.

I've got one. It's one of the cheap ones and I've had no problems at all with it.
If you can find a name brand one used, it may be a better investment. Sadly with the economy the way it is, good equipment is often available cheap.

As for the detailed questions, that varies depending on the brand.

I had seen that add in the Auto & RV mags that I get, just was not sure how good they were. I have read different horror stories about lifts that break or drop the top vehicle due to failure of the lift.

I am looking for mainly storage purposes but figure can use it for when needing to work under a vehicle to make things a bit easier on this old body.
