I'm looking to do a headlight upgrade and I thought they were 7 inch bulbs. Are they really 6 5/8? I don't have one next to me to make the measurements. Thanks.

The size is a 6054. There are numerous upgrades and housings that utilize a H1 bulb. Look around, I think most of the usual places have them... Be careful because there are two different wattages for H1s. The standard 55 watt and the 100 watt variant that can and more than likely melt your housing.

Re: What size are the headlights?
You don't want to use H1 bulbs since they are single beam what you want is an H4 bulb which is dual beam so you have hi and low beam

This is what I'm looking to do. I know that this is what coby used on van-go and I have to also go this route since I shaved the turn signals and now I need this. I'm just thrown off that it says size 6 5/8. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-7-Inch-Fluted-Replacement-Headlights-w-Clear-Turn-Signal,25100.html?b=s*Headlight%2bclear%2bsignal

You could check out these as well. H4 and different options and colors. Price seems a little cheaper but sometime you know cheaper means cheap. I have been thinking of these myself but have not gotten a pair yet so can comment on quality

Also, make sure you use relays for them. Other wise. You will not get the full potential from them. That pretty much goes for any 60s vehicle.

Re: What size are the headlights?
The relays are a great idea. This uses the old, tired headlight switch as a simple low amp trigger instead of the main flow point.
