I'm I supposed to have a pitman arm on my 66? Or was it an option, like the sway bar that I don't have.

Re: Pitman arm
In your steering (neccessary) components there are both a pitman arm (the one that connects the steering box to the linkage) and an idler arm (the one that stabilizes the same said linkage by providing another pivot for it on the frame). The drag link is the long bar that attaches the two, and to which the tie rods connect at the ends of. Hope this helps!

Re: Pitman arm
Thanks for the Info.
I do have it conected to the drag link. For one reason I was thinking it was only for power stearing .
