    Are the splines on the Pitman arm to the steering box tapered, cause I can't get my Pitman arm to go any more than 5/8 of an inch on the steering box spline?

    Pitman arm is tapered,,,,,,,and it just goes on far enough for the nut to fit flush on the shaft,,,,

    Make sure to use a large torque wrench to spec on that one! A 3/4" drive size wrench is usually needed.
