I spent the past 10 hours with a bucket of water , 1500 grit sand paper , a buffer and about 50 gallons of buffing compound,,,,making sweet love to the passenger side of my van...here is my progress so far...notice my reflection ...tomorrow I should be done with the outside.these are all cell phone pics,,they dont do it any justice![img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

Very nice!! I like that color. In my opinion a paint job isn't done until it's sanded and buffed.

thanks guys! you cant see in these cell phone pics,but in that small space that exists between the doors and hinges,it is next to impossible to buff with the electric buffer.I made the mistake of wet sanding there and now most of my time is being spent trying to hand buff ,,right there in the taint of the damn hinges! this is the other color I considered ,,,I would like to see someone use it on an early ,I think it would look killer [img][/img][img][/img]

That last picture the small one I thought at first it was a Nylint window van you painted to match your van. Very nice blue and will be really something when finished

Ah! I LOVE how a vehicle feels after a nicely FINISHED paint job. And I dont mean physical "feel" but it just feels like a trophy in your hands every time you look at it!
