Re: todays random image (part #4)
I'd love to own either one of those, the Ford or the Chevy. Better yet, why not both. Then all I'd need is a little Mopar action to top it off! Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?

Hey Sandyvan,
Where'd you see that Harley Sprint?! I had one like that when I was just out of high school! Well, not as radical as that one. I did give it a custom paint job:

Re: todays random image (part #4)
My '72 Harley Sprint 350. And that's me in '81!
These were crazy bikes. Harley bought this Italian motorcycle company so they could race in the low cc race. One cylinder, miserable to kick start. The shifter, rear brake, and kickstand were on the wrong sides. Messed me up when I finally bought a normal bike!
I sold it to someone here in San Diego years ago. It'd be funny if that black one was mine!

Re: todays random image (part #4)
the Italian company Harley (AMF)bought was Aeramacci. They built the Sprint 350,the sx 250 (A dual sport) and the very collectable mx 250 motocross bike.I had a sx 250 that I sold about 10 years ago. When Harley bought itself back from AMF they didn't keep Aeramacci.

Wow, amazing photos Rich! Dig that paint job! I had a 1969 Gilera 106 a few years ago. It was a model that was sold through sears kind of like the Vespa Allstate and Cushman. It also had the shifting on the opposite side, european style and the shift order was 1 up, 3 down...

Is that a GM production or a custom build?
