PACIFICA PICKUP

Spent the day hangin with Gene Winfield,legendary customer and builder of the Econoline Pacifica Pickup. Heres a link to 75 photos on my facebook page.

The day was capped off with a late night dinner with the legend himself. Words can't describe the kind of day I had pickin his brain.

Thats cool, I first met Gene at the Dallas Autorama a few years ago. He couldn't be a nicer guy. It was cool to tell him how all his designs and past creations made me want to do what I do for a living now. He's an inspiration.

from what i understand he is bringing that vehicle to the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton New Brunswick Canada this summer. atlanticnationals.com big show for this region for sure with cloose to 2000 vehicles in attendance. my pre registration number 16................ if your around the region july 12 - 14 you should come on up.

I know its in Toronto for a charity show weekend of June 9 and then has another Canada appearance and a stop in New York too. Don't know the dates on the later 2 shows.

Tim would have loved to hang out with you guys and Gene last weekend. He is one of the gods of custom. Gene and Pacifica are at the World of Wheels in Chicago this weekend. Matchstick is helping him chop a car there. Gene will be in Detroit next weekend, but not sure if Pacifica will be there.

Doug,Matchstick and a few others had dinner with Gene at Joe's Crab Shack last night after the show. The Pacifica will be in Detroit and so will I. I'm meeting Ken Saturday morning. Gary will be there on Friday with the family.
