1976 Van World Magazines - PDF Versions HERE

I took three of my Van World Magazines from 1976 and scanned them to PDF files. To make everyone happy, I have one Ford, one GMC, one Dodge covers.

Each file is about 40 megs. These can be read on any electronic device. Great stuff in these!

Anyone tried these? Just wondering if it's worth doing a few more. I have to take the magazine apart and cut them in half to make one.

I tried the chevy one and it worked fine. Just took a while for it to load. Pretty neat stuff!!!!

The best way is to right click on the link, choose 'Save link as' and save PDF right to your computer. This way you don't have to keep downloading it over and over, and I stay within my bandwidth limits.

I saved it so I wouldn't have to down load again. Only had to turn the computer upside down once .

thanks dude , just last week i was looking at 70s van mags on ebay , cheapest at 13.00 per.

Fantastic! Loved the pictures and articles. We ought to have a page designated to anyone who wants to scan old mags into PDF's. Thanks for taking the time to do so!

I have maybe 8 or 10 more issues. They almost all have at least one article on them with and early, but this is 76', so most are 70's vans. But they are still fun to look at.

I will try and get a few more done. I may have to get a Dropbox so I can handle the bandwidth. I have to carefully pull out the staples, then use a paper cutter to cut each page in half so they run through the scanner. So once I do it, the mags are pretty much useless.

But having them in PDF is worth it. I can load them on a nook, kindle, ipad, laptop, anything really and read them while traveling, etc. Much better!

I will start with what I have, and maybe we can assemble a library of some sort with old van mags.

That would be awesome NoBiggie. I can't seem to find anything like this up here. So I for one will certainly enjoy reading them. And thanks again for posting these.

The GMC issue had an ad for Santana conversions- the company that built the Napoleon Dynamte van.

That Lil' Blue 62 is the coolest van that I've ever seen!
