I can access the site fine,I can even navigate around fine and see everything while doing so. I can read the category and topic titles fine but when I open a thread all the background is black and I cant read anything and no images will display. Did something with the site change?

Tim , since my laptop took a nose dive, I've been accessing by phone only for about a month .I've not had any issues with it.Same black field and orange border.

Nothing has changed... Try looking at the bottom and selecting "classic view" or something like that... Just what I read somewhere... I don't hava a phone smart enough so I'm only guessing

I have seen that issue with the mobile site ever since I tried it months ago with Android 2.2 and 4.1. Are you on Android, Apple, or Windows?

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "Classic version" in the lower left hand corner

I almost always prefer the full versions of web pages over mobile versions anyway so it works for me

Hitting classic version worked for me,thx. I wonder why it worked fine for a year without ever doing that?

just a guess here, you may have been viewing classic version for over a year, and maybe you changed some setting/cleared a cookie/cache or reset something that made it revert to the mobile.
I hated the mobile version, it was useless to me. I switched to classic and over a year ago and my devices (ipad and iphone) always load in classic version without me having to toggle every load. so the problem with the mobile version is still there. I’m assuming that as long as the settings for the black background on the regular site stay as they are, the mobile version will be useless.
