The Travel Equip. Corp. Tops were the origionalls . Ive got one from an econoline =1961 -early model.!! They were all Alunimum =built aroung a plywood and a design that could raise or lower in a few seconds. Those camper conversions even had kids hammocks in them with full kitchens , sleeping areas=full conversions for there times. They made 3 different alunimum models over the years . Happy Vannin!!

My Corvair van has a 1961 TEC aluminum Travel Top on it. Very unique and very functional!! I have owned examples of all three generations of the tops.
