Spotted this '65 Chevy camper van at a car show...

Spotted this 1965 Chevy camper van with a TEC top at the local car show. I was offered a chance to buy it some time earlier, but passed on it. It is ratty- but oh so cool! The guy is using it to haul motorcycles at this point.

It has no camper interior, but the TEC flip top is in good shape. The TEC top has a serial number of 3842. The one on my Corvair van is very early- #542.

Believe it or not, it was a $100 junkyard find. It came off of a high roof Toyota van camper(oxymoron for sure!)

I can check the make for you (I think it is an A & E)- but new ones run in the $500 range. They do make awesome rain gutter brackets to attach them to your van.
