Looking for a decent 64-66 No Door.
I'm not fluent in bondo, so I'm looking for a reasonably straight body that needs mech work, which I can do.
clanocleirigh at yahoo dot com will get to me direct with info or pics.
    Thanks!

    Dave,
Strangely enough they were the "Cheapest" to buy back in the day. And now the hardest to find by early collectors.
Best of luck to all looking for these!!!

I was looking on here somewhere, and their was a post with all the years & models of production for 1st & 2nd gen Chevys. The 2nd gen numbers were quite a few more. But seems like I've seen more 1st gens saved/displayed/saved/restored than the 2nd's.Where'd the 2nds all go?
Just making an observation is all.
Good luck, hope you find your 1st gen.

I remember seeing my first true 1st gen nodoor.
I'd never seen one or even knew they existed till that nite.
I'd dreamed of closing the doors off with metal and filler, but never knew that they could be ordered from the factory that way.
It blew my mind to see this one.
Was at the movies one night, and in the parking lot sat a flat black nodoor, L 60 15's in back and a wicked rake, side pipes blacked out and nice shiny Cragars all the way around.
The dude was into suede long before it became fashionable, cause the van, though in primer, was pin striped and lettered with gloss black over the flat body.
The guy was pretty much done it seemed, and the flat black looked damn good when not out of a can and all uneven.

The cleanliness of the lines Chevy created on this van are truly beautiful, and when the body is straight and clean it's just pretty to behold.

So little is needed, in terms of modification, to clean them up an make the lines something you can't look away from.

    The nodoor will happen someday.

I'll just have to keep lookin', and hopin'.

That 69 nodoor basket case up in Washington state was so nice, I was hard pressed to not buy it.

    I really wished I had.

It was a 2nd gen, but it was pretty.
