Dodge is rolling out a Hemi crate engine

We usually don't have to worry about smog checks on our old vans, but they are offering a new emissions legal, ready to go 3rd gen Hemi.

Yes =nice =now lets just go buy a train car load of those for 17-19K even if we could get a 50% discount?? way too much!! Sad - Guess im just missing the old 426 stuff too.That was an engine!!!!!!!!!!

looks like the dodge brothers are onto something here. not before time either. if it is a complete kit at the price it's very comparable to other manufactures performance stuff. i have a friend who stuffed one of those hemi's into his 4 door valient a while back and it is a killer sleeper car. actually made it into mopar magazine a while back. then his uncle thought what the heck and installed one into a nash metropolitian. with it in kit form now means we could slip one into our vans and be running in a day or two. and if you wait about 6 more months you will no doubt get one over 400 hp !!!



he was sneaky with this car too. he had an old set of 426 valve covers that he grafted onto the engine to make it appear as an old style 426. fooled a lot of people............
