After the tape measure read 90" on our 1969 GMC with no side door...I was wondering if anyone knows how many of these were made,,or even still around..

Re: 90" wheelbase
The no-doors are the hardest to find and most popular these days. When produced they were the cheapest to purchase. The side doors were an option that you had to pay extra for. Production #'s are hard to pin down because GM didn't keep very good records on it back then. I'm sure someone here has some production #'s of some kind. Maybe they will post what they have.

Re: 90" wheelbase
Welcome jimdaddy62,
Looks pretty good for a Florida van!!! How are the drip rails around the roof? Most all of them start to rust along the roof line down here. That and the windshield frame....
Again, Welcome!!

Re: 90" wheelbase
Welcome, I got a 64 Nodoor. Tom Schanner had 6 or 8 1st & 2 gen nodoors at one time(Now hes got a Dodge Nodoor??). As I remember one of his 2nd gen went to FL. But it didn't have a window in the side. Look's like you got a Nice van .

Re: 90" wheelbase
thanks for the replys,This van had no side windows back in 1972 when my dad brought it from K.C Mo. He purchased it as a plumbers van, didn't even have a pasenger seat and was an orange in color.. And yes the drip rail along the roof are in bad shape as is around the windshield.

Re: 90" wheelbase
Welcome and it looks like you've got a nice base to start with. The fact that it was your father's makes it that much better. Keep the pics coming as you progress, Please.
