Towing capacity of A-108 or A-100 Empty Towing capacity of A-108 or A-100

I'm looking at a couple of A-108's for sale and I'd like to know what the towing capacity is for these van's. I'd prefer a van with a 318 automatic.

    thanks

I can look in to the capacity but it would also depend on a tow ball on a bumper or a tow hitch from back in the day. myseif i wouldn't tow any thing unless i had a class 3 hitch to go on there .Next would be the frame condition . Brakes and Steering . To witch your not giving any info, unless these vans you are complety restored I would not be thinking about towing, Just my 2 cents

The A100 Yahoo Group has a file for a "factory" hitch. In the text it states the requirements for towing various weight trailers between 2000 and 3500 pounds.

I have a '66 A100 318/auto window van w/ drum brakes and a 10' long pop-up trailer w/ small electric brakes. There are times where stopping is an issue due to brake fade.
