I always see on the car build shows they have custom rims MADE for the car. An original set no one else will have. Anyone know where they find these places? I did some google searches and all it comes up with is cookie cutter distributors of the same old thing.

I designed a set of rims for my Fiat Spider and I want to find a place to machine them for me.

If they do a good job I am hoping to get a set made for Tammy's 66.

I sent them an email. Going to keep looking for other places too.

    Thanks for finding that one!

I am sending them an email asking if they could get me contact information for someone that makes rims. It looks like they just sell rims that others make?

Try the backwards approach. You mention CNC machining in your signature. That's how these are done.
Talk to your machine and billet people. They will know who has the large 3 axis machines in your area that can handle a 15X15" (or larger)
    chunk.
For the rims, look at either a spun rim that the center is pressed into and welded or 3-piece bolt together halves.

If you want some company names, contact Riddler or Roadster Show builders. Expect at least 2500 per wheel.

Typing "cnc custom wheel milling" into Google gets 190.000 results.

I chuckle a little bit at some opinions. I found a couple places here in Alabama that actually do custom to order rims. They are talking $600 a piece, I was more looking for places that others might have used and can give a good reference for workmanship and price.

Quicksilver has some good reviews but I could pay anyone $50 each to write a review for me. Would prefer a company that others can give personal experience from.
