Re: club sticker or license plate
I found some site where you can get aluminum plate blanks for about .70 apiece in quantities of 25. These they say are decal or print ready in white. decals could be sized for stickers or made to fit a plate. could do something like a kit where ya could paint the blank to match whatever color ya wanted and then apply a decal and clear coat it. Depending on colors decals are fairly cheap to make. I can check on this also.

Re: club sticker or license plate
Digs i like the idea . And Twinpilot i'm trying to talk with Exto to get some prices. If and or when we have every one's blessing we can try to move forward. The bigest thing would be how many to make at one time. 20, 25, 40, 50, and of what window stickers , and or plates. Exto will look in to the plates cast and the thinner alunimun ones as well. keep in mind this will take some time to get it togather, but 1st i'm trying to get every one's ok on this.. If this was only dash plaques the size of a bussness card that you get at a car cruise then they should run about $ 1.00 ea.

Re: club sticker or license plate
I suppose I should clarify quick like, the pricing I put up was for a printed plate. I could make a master for doing the cast one, but I'd need to find someplace to actually cast the parts. And take care of more than a few 'honey-do' prjects first.

Re: club sticker or license plate
Well this idea has been tossed around before and there wasn't enough who would commit to make it cost effective... Just keep that part in mind and if you all want to do it, I'm all for it!
Regarding the graphics, just PM me an email address where to send a copy, & I'll send the best one I got that will hopefully get the job done...

Re: club sticker or license plate
maybe someone could start a count on the front page when you click on this sight so it would be there for everyone to see and to find out who wants one, to see if it would be cost effective to make them or not, just a thought

Re: club sticker or license plate
best way to know how many are interested in what is to start a new thread with a poll... you could set up the poll with multiple choice and we could feature the thread so it's up in front at all times until you find out what you need to know

Re: club sticker or license plate
Hey Dix I got your PM.
So reading through all the posts you guys are wanting a polished or brushed plaque or plate with the logo?
First off I can cut the plate size but would recommend laser engraving the logo. It will give a much clearer detail to the design. Draw back is it wouldnt have color but anyone could paint their own with some paints if they wanted to.
Second, the design should be in a vector format or DXF format. I can transform vector or bitmat into a DXF, would cost me $20 I think it was.
Here is an example of the VCVC logo that some might have seen at the Nats. The shape was cut on the CNC and then the log was laser engraved.
I seen the logo and as long as you get permission and send to me I can laser engrave it. It would be more of an outline than a solid though.
If you would rather me cut just the plates to X by X size for you guys to have printed on that is fine too. Just let me know what you need. I have tons of .125 and .065 Aluminum panels.
If you want

Re: club sticker or license plate
I should add that the black lines on that Chevy sign is the reflection of the coat hanger on the wall. I polished these to a mirror finish then laser engraved the logo. Turned out really nice for those that got them.

Re: club sticker or license plate
Sorry to spam... If you are wanting a stick/window cling talk to Ammie over at VCVC. They had some made over there unless someone already has those covered.

45 is what they sold them for. I believe each plate at the time made 5 for the site. They were good to work with for the guys on the site just took time to get everything worked out.
