    my 67 g10 and 69 a100 Empty updating

Post by Guest Sat Feb 28, 2009 9:08 pm

Just update status on the A-100. Took seats to get redone and that it still needs brake lines in the front. gas tank, and then body work. Pictures of before and after of seats to come w/i 1 week hopefully! Very Happy Along with a possible addition to the fleet of a Econoline pickup and deletion from fleet for the Chevy g-10

my 67 g10 and 69 a100 Empty Scout and Econoline

Post by Guest Sun Mar 01, 2009 3:32 pm

I actually just past the place where someone told me the Econoline was and i drove by. It was green and white and i didnt have my camera with me. Unfortunatly, it is pretty rusted but i believe it has to be a 62 or 63 but i just rolled by. buddy from up there way said he knoews the people and might be able to get them to let it go. If I get that i will have to start on that all the same to keep it from getting to bad. Right now i dont know if i can do that. 3 car garage at home is full with beetle and tractor plus a100 and still have my buddys garage full right now. if there was room we could get on it right away. But if it is cheap enough i will shortly need a new project....

Which brings me back to the Scout, yes it is but i dont know what year. I have a 87 blazer with 232xxx miles on it and want to redo something 4x4....this leave 4 options...One is redo Blazer, ok but no really worth my time or effort....Two is convert the g-10 into a 4x4, again maybe not worth my time and money, maybe....three is buy a 78cj levi edition of uncle for 500 and out tub on it and do tune up/maintence...option four is scout, there is 3 of those little pickups and 2 of those big wagons., i like the little truck but its 4 cyl w. creeper gear and i think i want to do that. Main problem...to many projects, not enough time!! scratch
