And I can't believe I have been givin the OK the get one. Willing to wait for the right one. Want a almost mint one or a very very nice one. Want a van I can jump in for the most part and start having a good time. Looking for a "A" first , but if the right Econo or Chevy comes along I will go that way. After seeing Camping'fools van I hope I find a "A" first

Not only is that the only one like that I've ever seen, I already know anyone would be hard pressed to find one in better condition..That thing is COOL!!

    G-Man,
First, thanks for the flattering mention.
Pulling into any campground with a vintage camper of any kind (C-class, trailer, van, what have you) is going to draw tumbs-up's and smiles. It's FUN. (and becoming a more common sight).
My wife and I really enjoy the time we spend just talking, reading, grilling and SO MANY more things that go along with a fresh change of location equiped with new folks to meet.
(On a side note) Last year I pulled into a camper sales/service place. As I drove up to park I noticed the lady at the desk was looking though the window. When I walked in she smiled and said "you don't see one of those everyday.... To that I smiled and said..."I'm lucky...I do".

Good luck with your quest of a camper.

I am building my own camper. That way I get it right for my needs. I love how those Dinettes look that way, but the bed is just too short for comfort. That red one is a nice ride though.
