Re: A-100 Wanted
"A"'s are harder to find in Canada, but they are there. If I see something in Michigan would that be close enough??? Also keep a eye out in the for sale section daily you never know what will pop up there.

Re: A-100 Wanted
Well hemi331, I like you're taste in trucks .
The Van-ups seem to be getting hard to find, especially in decent condition, so you may have to look out west like California, Arizona or even Texas.
Good Luck and "Welcome to the site"!

Re: A-100 Wanted
I checked the ad and it wouldn't come up, if it's still for sale that would save you the hassle of getting one over the boarder and I'm guessing for $$$ on shipping. I do remember this truck and I think it's what your looking for hemi331

Re: A-100 Wanted
My last communication with the seller was that he was putting it away for winter and would entertain offers in the spring. His last ad was for $1850 so I bet he'd take $1500 or maybe less. A good deal if you ask me and not too far away, a good long day's drive for us here in Ontario but very doable.

ha ha, no.
But I had been keeping my eye on that van. Just curious what it ended up selling for.

Re: A-100 Wanted
That sounded more like where the van came from than there could be 2 Chevy Vans in Chilliwack. And you know,,,,,there are also some people that don't share or appreciate all the time and money we put into our vans. They might even think we like the vans more than them.

Re: A-100 Wanted
The guy that had the van was a member of VCVC and I think he has only had the van for about a year. I guess he lost interest in it or something else came up. Too bad, I was hoping to start a gang or something

Re: A-100 Wanted
well i could lie and tell u that i paid a thousand....but after extensive photos..of pretty much everywhere on the truck i felt that the truck was worth the asking price...the floors r mint...big 292 six ,12 bolt rear...yes a 12 bolt..kingpins ,new windshield, new seals...there is a list two pages long of stuff done to it...here in ontario usually the earlies r rusted to no end...so i figured the shipping and purchase price is still worth it in the long run....im sure i could sell the six and the rear end on this site ...just not sure what to ask yet....but i want to get it here first then decide what to do......i have a 331 hemi to go in it..plus a narrowed nine..so i will go that route and build a killer pro street van...did u ever go and look at it??...very excited to get it here...i have wanted one of these chevys since my high school days...didnt figure it would take me this long tho...lol....

Re: A-100 Wanted
There are more out there,,,,,and it's our job to get them out in the open by cruising and posting. All it takes is a glimpse of an Early,,,,and people start searching the internet for more information and find out that there is a WHOLE NATION of Early Vans and Vanners everywhere.
