    Leaf springs Empty Leaf springs

Post by gkpost Fri Mar 30, 2012 7:04 am

I finally have some money to put into the van. I have a 67 chevy and was thinking about new springs, Not sure if I need to buy new or just replace the bushings. The springs seem to have enought ark from the looks of them but I just dont know. Anyone know how to tell? what to measure? How to measure ? Also what other year chevy van spring will fit?
    Any help is much appreciated.

I have not looked -yet I do have a 1982 chev van along with my 67 -same as u have. Im thinking those springs might work?? yet any good spring company can re-arch the old springs -if in good condition & also can add a leaf or more to them-might save u some bucks??

I think maybe the re-arch option might be the way to go.I went on general spring but they only go back to 1972. How the hell do you post pics on this site? I haven't been on for so long every thing has changed. I tried the (host image) option and loaded a couple pics to somewhere, but I haven"t seen them, and have no idea where they went.
