So, what do I use as replacement heater vent hoses when the old ones are not in the van. What do they look like?

Flexible ducting- I bought mine @ pep boys -most auto parts will have the stuff- just measure the od sizes of where the ducting comes from & goes to -usually the same size. Not expensive stuff.Heater / defroster ducting hose -i call it .

I found flexible ducting, that fits exactly like the original at Nostalgic Air Parts. Check out their web site.

have also looked at some shop vac nozzle ends that are very close to the shape of the defroster outlets - oo3
