Sick interior! I painted my door panels white too and have the same steering wheel! I love white interior.

You can tell from the Time stamp on the photos how old the work is. Sept 26, 2006 White with Texas plates, Restored by Sept 03, 2007. The Title says May 21, 2007 from Berlkey , MI. The Import Document says Oct 2007. It has been stored in the garage of the guy that imported it ever since. I just bought this "as is" in Oct 23, 2010. KRAZY, MI must have just restored it to flip it.? But why all the custom work and rear bumper revamp.? The guy I bought it off of has a restored 64 Ford ECO and a 69 108 covered with a tarp so I'm sure he is a true Vanner. It has never been registered in Canada, I took it straight to my mechanic for it's safety. Thanks to Bills66, Digz, Donivan65, and all that have done the Disc brake conversion legwork, I've been a waiting my 65's return all winter! Here are some other shots....I love this place BTW

Wow that sure is pretty ! What's the mirrors in the side doors made of ? Glass would be worrisome to me. I was kickin' around polished stainless for that at one time.

Yeah it is, i have other plans for it though. I'll check on the mirrors if I ever get the Van back

Are they running into problems or did you get stuck on the Low Priority list ?

i rember when that van was for sale in 2010. that is a nice looking early

Digz...Over the winter I didn't care how long they took, but then when the disk brakes were completed they then tell me that all they need to do is fix the signal lights to pass the safety, but are having a hard time finding parts. Again thanks to V-V, I took some of the parts sites from here and sent them the links. They said it was very helpful. It's taking way too long I'm pretty frustrated. I've made Humans faster than this

Bear...I saw it posted a couple times my self before I decided to seriously consider the price. I had saved another 66 Chevy from a Saskatchewan Framer, but I don't have the know-how or time to fix it. I sold it for $400. I wasn't considering buying another at that time. Big Regret, Should have kept it for parts.


Bills66...Yes thanks for all the help. They mounted the Shocks inward on the front axle, I want to show you guys how they did it and get your feed back. I hope it works without incident!

Van was supposed to be ready today. When I called they told me that there was a valve cover leak still so it would have to be tomorrow. I went down there anyway and they said they didn't have time to test drive it. So I said I'd do it, give me the keys! About Time! They promised tomorrow for sure. I gotta admit I haven't been actually exited for anything in a long time!

Digz... I took a look at those mirrors, they are not glass. They are a thin plexy glass, 1/4 inch thick. I was thinking of calling the guy that did all the work to ask him a few questions. If I do I'll inquire further.

I noticed a bunch of things that need attention, I can't wait to get started, and to drive it some more! I couldn't see SH!T out of my passenger side mirror! It was so good!

The interior is pretty shot. Disgusting carpeting front to back, old paneling on the sides, the seats need reupholstering, and the dash was covered with some vinyl covering that was old, cracking and peeling.

I started ripping everything out yesterday. I'm not quite sure what I am going to do in there yet.
