New Chevy Sportvan owner

Just wanted to say hello. I am the new owner of a 1969 Chevy Sportvan 108.

A partial restore has been done on it already. I plan to finish it and get it the way I want it for travel.
When its finished I plan on driving around the country. Any info that you think would be helpful probably would be. So feel free to give me suggestions.

Im in a small town called Lawton near Kalamazoo MI.

Its definetly a keeper. Came from tenesse so there is virtualy no rust at all. The guy I got it from said he put bondo on just one spot in the rear door because of a dent.

Those interior panels are just cheap faux wood that the previous owner put in. I kinda like it though. I dont think I will change it.
