Hi: my name is Mike, from Ontario Canada, I'm breathing life into a 68 a100 and I'm quite new to this. My wife drove it from Bancroft Ontario to Alaska in the mid 80's after college and left it there. I located it and shipped it back for her 40th birthday. Should have seen here face!!!, This is a great forum. hope to post some before/ after pics some day!!

some members have sent me emails prior and this and they have been very helpfull.

I still am trying to locate a gas tank and floor pannels for the van. If anyone has this for sale or knows where I might locate parts or doaner vehicle/parts that would be a great help.
Thanks again, ( ringtail ), Mike.

Welcome Mike. Congrats on locating the van. Nice to see some more As on here Smile.

Getting gas tanks can be an issue. From what I understand, Nate's buddy Brain has some in Maryland and George in PA my have some. When I first got my van, I found a company that would make a custom new one, but I have no idea what the pricing would be.

Ringtail welcome to the site!!!! I can tell you Mopars are harder to find parts for but they are out there. Your best bet is to find a donor van that has most of what you need. It also great to have so many Canadians here. Just goes to show that it's not just a American thing. If you look at older posts you'll find we are getting a international group here. A few members from England and Norway and a few other areas of the world.

Welcome aboard Ringtail. Yes my buddy Brian and George have spare gas tanks, but I'm not sure if they'll ship outside the US.

Floor panels aren't being reproduced, but sheet metal such as side panels, rear corners, and the doglegs over the front wheels are.

Brian can be reached at a100vans@comcast.net and George can be reached at ustow@ptd.net

Welcome Ringtail! It sounds like we have many of the same tasks on our new projects... My brother and I are doing up a 68 Fargo A100 that I rescued this year, and more of the same on my 64 Econoline. We're not covered in that much snow here , but it's cold enough to make your "parts" freeze off! Cheers, Corey
