Hamelton i'm thinking $3,990will help you to turn it . The van does need some attenion ,Althou the wheels and tires are about $1,000 alone, The windshind is about $50 to $60.00 any glass shop can cut it. I would give ya 1 but i'm sure it would arrive broke as well, The front disc is a big plus, and the front floor and rain gutters need addressed, Help your self out for the sale clean up the engine compartment with some engine cleaner and rags mabe some light water spray, be carfull around the wires, Down at the electric fan tie up the lose hanging wires with zip ties. And look were the fuel / flote comes out of the gas tank there should be a jumper to continue the ground around the about 2 1/2 inch rubber hose , if the jumper is missing the gauge will not work, Make sure the wire going it to the back of the gas tank has a good conection.

thanks KY and Dix....very cool...atleast I dont feel completely off the mark...the folks around here that have looked at it have always had the same reaction, "oh, no A/C?" In my head, I answer, "well, no, no A/C, you sure you want an old classic? Better stick to your Dodge Caravan!"

Yeah Dix, hard to tell in the pics, but a whole ton of wires were tied up and the engine compartment is many times cleaner than when I found it. The gas tank is going to require dropping and rerunning wire....the floor and rain gutters do need attention, indeed. They are sturdy but in not so good shape.

Ok, thanks again for the advice, I can always count on good info from here.

Best of luck selling, if you gotta!
Fantasic ad! Great writing and pics!
    A couple things to add.
Talk about the transmission. I know it's an auto, but a newbie might not pick up on that, with the 'cool dash shifter'!
There sure looks to be a heater in place. Mention that it is there, but will require the new owner to do a little restoration for it to work.
The rusty spots do detract, If you have the ability to touch them up, it would help.
Also for us gearheads, mention the rear gear ratio and if it's a sure grip. Again great ad, only a couple small things missed.

$4200 is a deal for that van IMHO, if I was in the market I'd pay that for it easily. If it was me selling it I'd start at around $6000 and work down from there, of course all that depends on how bad you need it gone.

On a side note, the bed/couch is awesome, did you build it? Got plans for it?

I just (shamelessly) downloaded all the pictures since I'm saving multiple ideas for the inside of mine when i get that far.

Thanks Slow....no plans for that couch, it was there when I purchased the van, they are way cool indeed! Folks round here just dont "get it". They are more concerned that it has no AC! Shocked

Im noticing some corosion on radiator & possible small leakage=green areas?/ Possible radiator in future- also for a engine thats susposed to have been "Balanced & Blueprinted" =?? It sure looks on the outside as having not been done in many years =very dirty- and as reported was done in 2008?/ as most would be cleaner than shown.Nice complete van - again some attention is needed-rusted areas , paint & interior . My look would be in a range of about $3000-3500.

Yeah Twin, I know what you're talking about, the "balanced and blueprinted" thing is kinda dumb to list now that I have researched what that actually means, since I cant prove it, probably best to delete that part...I lifted it from the previous owners posting years ago....the radiator was cleaned up and repaired last year, thinking you're seeing the remnants of that.....do appreciate the feedback!

Nice lookin van! The thing I noticed is, Do you have the belly pan? If that's missing, that's one reason for it running hot even though you have a additional fan. Good luck

I left mine off the other day, the van was so quiet going down the road and it seemed to go down the road easier. But, at the same time, it ran hotter. It really makes a tunnel for air to cool/get to the radiator.

What size are your front tires? Tire sizes, look great.
