I own a 66 supervan panel and was wondering if the factory offerd a drivers bench seat as a factory option ?? Thanks.. By the way this is a great site !!

No bench but there was a flip up jump seat that was attached to the top of the doghouse. I think these were supplied by the makers of the Travelwagon campers. All I've seen came out of the campers.
I don't believe Ford made these or the seat materal would match. I'm fairly certain they were made by the camper company.

without that seat, riding on the engine cover as a kid was somewhat uncomfortable

I found this image. It loks like a jump seat may have been an option for service trucks that occassionally needed an extra service man.
