Re: seats and seat covers
JC Whitney's Jeep seats have been used, but comfort and quality may be an issue. There is a place that has the covers (expensive) if you want to reupholster yours. I believe someone here is using Fiero seats in their early.
There's a guy in WI using some very comfortable racing style buckets in his A108. I can try to contact him if you're interested in spending some $.

Re: seats and seat covers
Jeep Cherokee seats will fit, but they sit a bit high for my tastes. There's a feller named Gary Ball that builds them new for the Dodge Super Stock cars, but they cost a small fortune.
Early B-van seats will fit in an A-van as well.

Re: seats and seat covers
Since the old set needs recovering I took a set of MG seats and modified the bottom brackets than got some seat covers , i'm still not pleased may go to pull - a - part and look for another set they usually run about $20. a piece, alot cheaper than buying a custom set for a couple hundred a piece. I'm still waiting for pull - a- part to get in a couple of A100 to get some parts off of, we actually have several pull - a - part and numberous other yards around atlanta.

Mancini Racing has brand spanking new A-100 seats at $380/ea. Expensive but it's nice to know that they are available.

Re: seats and seat covers
If you can find a Pontiac Feiro in the YD. You'll have some nice seats that fit very well and only spend about $40 for the set....

Sound interesting I've been thinking of the possibilty of doing some long hauling in the future & got to thinking how far the wife's sensitive back will last. If these are as comfortable as you say then I'd be very interested. Can you get photos of these seats and how much fabbing is needed to install, Thanks

He e-mailed me back. All he said was that he got them from the Summit catalog.
Here is what I got when I searched for 'seats' on the site:
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&Ntt=seats&x=0&y=0&N=700+115&searchinresults=false
Like 20,000 items to look through. I think anything that would fit a Jeep should work. If and when I see the van again, I'll get some pics and additional info for you. It's so nice not being afraid of the whole picture thing anymore.

Bob,
Not sure and probably gone by now but there was one at Pull-a-Part (South Atlanta) a few weeks ago when I was there...
And still had seats, I was checking them out (Blue) in fair shape..

Seat answers
I suggest getting them redone at an upholstry place. I ran into an old friend that took over the upholstry shop for her dad. She did a great job ( i will get pictures posted as soon as I find my camera). but it cost me 300 dollars but thats 150 a seat and she even reformed some of the fome. I think of some of the seats on ebay for 600 dollars which is insane. Unless you need seats (like totally dont have them) take the ones you have to a local joint and ask to see what work they can do. Anyone will have an album of their work and see how much they can do it for. Because it has been the best 300 bucks i have spend on my van up to this point.

Re: seats and seat covers
i used honda civic seats and they are fairly comfy. i used the original seat hardware and sliders for mounting. i'm 6' 2" and look like i am trying to smuggle a basket ball and i have the stock 20" steering wheel and can wear a hat while driving. it is close at the wheel.....pic in my gallery of them.

Re: seats and seat covers
My buddy Brian had a set of seats redone locally by a friend of his. Cost him about $300 for the pair and they are beautiful. Two-tone blue with blue piping.
I was going to have the same guy do my seats in the phone van, but since I'm selling it, I don't have to worry about. This "new" van I'm getting already has new seats in it.

Re: seats and seat covers
Will this seat fit our vans on the passenger side or is it too wide?
