I'm looking at how to finish off the hinge area on my Dodge A-100.
The factory just used filler to smooth the area.
That would be fine, but I plan on using single stage inside and base/clear outside. My painter prefers to have a smooth transition and paint the base coat assembled, then disassemble and clear coat apart so there is not tape line on the jambs. This presents a problem since the hinges won't come apart if filled. I realize the jambs can be cut and buffed, but I'm exporing options.
So I have been reading about the chevys and VWs having small rubber seals at this junction. I found the VW seals here.

I also found the Chevy suburban rear door seals at american classic.

Does anyone have these that could take measurements so I can see if they fit the dodge hinges?
The Dodge hinges are 2.5" tall by .3" wide.
