    OK I bought by heater box off of ebay and the heater core from advance Auto for by 66 Chevy. My question is does anything mount around the core in the unit or does it just sit in the unit? It seems to fit fairly tight.

    I don't think that the heater core from autozone will work but if it does let everyone know cause as to my knowledge no one has found on that will work strait out of the store....

    I believe there are supposed to be 2 small straps that hold it in at the tanks with screws. if you actually need them or not Im not sure.
