Would like to start a thread of custom things you have done to your van. Doesn't have to be major mods it can be little things you have done to make your van different from the crowd. With the people we have here this should be a great thread to get ideas for everyone

Re: Customizing pic's
Digz !
Had not noticed your windshield before and thought I had studied your rig.
Did you just paint the edge of your windshield black then bond the windshield in? Just how did you do this?????
I was thinking of doing some thing like this also, but wasn't quite sure what to do to the inside of the windshield. I was thinking of using a quarter round push in weather stripe like used on modern cars.
Thanks Charley

Re: Customizing pic's
Charley, here's a link to the page most of that is on.

Yeah in hindsight I should have put some kind of trim on for the inside before it was set in. The outer trim is off something like a mid 80's oldsmobile I think. The blackout edge is just a primer for the urethane.

Re: Customizing pic's
did a few things on my project so far. frenched tails and louvered roll pan.
frenched the headlights and bezels in, did a sunken antenna, shaved the turn signals, emblems, made a new grille and reshaped the entire lower area where bumper was.
