Is there any way to rebuild the mirror heads at the point where they meet the stem? (the little ball contraption.) Mine just fall every time I hit a bump, and its not so big of a deal because I have a window van, and I dont want to spend the money now since in the future I'm moving the mirrors to the top of the door. Any way to fix this?

Re: Mirror Heads
You probably need to tighten up the ball joint behind the glass,,,,,some mirrors have a screw that you can tighten next to the ball joint on the outside,,,,,if the mirror is held in by rubber, you can pop the mirror out and get to the ball joint,,,,you might be able to drill out a rivet if you can see them from the outside to tighten up the plate that squeezes the ball joint and replace it with an aluminum one to tighten it back up...
