Does anyone know who's truck this is? I've tried contacting the person who posted pics on the jalopyjournal forum but have never gotten a response. Really would like to know the specifics on the rear wheels and tires on this truck, aiming for the same look on mine.

Re: who's truck is this?
Not sure who the truck belongs to, but its setup like a Gasser Hotrod where its raised in the front with skinny wheels and lower in the back with thicker.
To me they look like 15 or 16s. Probably 4s in the front and 8-10s in the back.. talking about thickness
Nice pick-up

tires
I know the rear wheels are probably 15 x 8, would like to know the back spacing, and most importantly, what the rear tire size is.

Never have gotten any reply's, apparently, whoever owns this truck, and the people that know them and post the photos on various sites do not want to share any info. I've responded every place I've seen this truck posted and have never gotten a response.

Re: who's truck is this?
I don't know who owns the truck now. It did belong to Eugene Phillips. Eugene passed away and it was sold. The new owner turned it into a gasser style truck.

Re: who's truck is this?
Just mounted these, These ARE the biggest you can fit without jacking up the rear, AND no heavy loads! I am gonna "roll" the fender lip a little.
They are 15X8 With 4.25" back spacing. Tires are 275/60R15.
There is about .50" clearance to the leaf springs, I can fit my fingers between tire and outer wheel well lip. Jumped up and down in the bed with no rubbing.
Hope this helps with some tire fitment questions.

[i]Get some air shoks on the back - will do u good for those tires =also make sure the rear end will not float - left / right as the tires may get into the fender sides?
been there done that had it all happen.

Are you a member on the HAMB? Did you PM the owner, or just post in a thread? If you didn't post an intro, or don't post often, you may not get much of a response.
It may not be that they are "not willing to share", but rather the person who posted may not know. At least one of those pics looks like it was taken at a show. You'll also notice that there are 2 different sets of wheels in the 2 pics. Tire size may have changed with the wheels.

tires
I posted up on the econoline thread as well as pm'ing the person who posted the pictures, several times, and never got a response. The person that posted them on the HAMB said they helped the owner build the truck, but I'm thinking since I never got a reply, that may have been bs, I have seen the poster put up other post, so he is not gone from the forum.
Thanks for the pics motorhead, that helps alot. When you roll the lip could you document that, want to do that as well but have never done it before and don't want to screw up.
I was thinking of airshocks twinpilot, that way I wouldn't have to screw around with springs or lift blocks.
I still haven't gotten my rear wheels and tires yet due to the fact that I have to get this right the first time. The wheels are really expensive and are built to order so if I screw up on sizing there is no sending them back, I will have to eat the cost. You now what they say, measure twice (in my case, four times) and cut once.
