Re: todays random image (part #4)
Negative ghost rider. MOPARS are going down in auctions. The kings of classic car auctions are Camaro, Chevelle and Corvette, especially when the Yenkos come up for bid.
As far as early vans go, A100s and Econosluts are the most recognized, commercialized and popular. The Chevy vans are the least popular and are rarely seen on the street, let alone commercial exposure.
Vans of any make will never bring the value in like the cars do.

Re: todays random image (part #4)
Lol we raised some hackles there eh TP?
Honestly though, I don't care what brand, earlier rock. My brother is all about Mopar, 65 Cornet 440 2 door hardtop, one of the rarest cars from that line. He got it for $27 at an auction when he was 16. Worked on it a lot with him and love that car.
My grandfather gave me his 56 ford 4 door bomber that I drove for years. Loved that car.
So whatever it is, its in our hearts. The all run, then breakdown. We fixem, love em, hatem, and talk about em. Thanks for such an awesome site and community!

The more I see that van of yours Vanish, the more I want to build one. Living out here in the sticks, a nice 4x4 would be an asset for sure.

Now of course this is all in good fun...I would love to own one van and one truck of each, but I would never be able to afford to fix them all....peace out.

426 Hemi? I have seen one only once before in a Moparheads Roadrunner over 25 years ago, but I think I remember the plugs in the valve covers like that. I am not all that familiar with muscle cars and big V8s.

You have a good memory. I can barely remember...ahhh lost my train of thought.
But yes that is the mighty HEMI going into a Dodge Daytona. Notice the torsion bar suspension. Back when Stockcars were "stock"cars.

Re: todays random image (part #4)
This guy came by our estate sale today. '34 Ford Couple, V-8 flathead, 80 horses, original paint, which wasn't bad. I had no idea a V-8 only produced 80 h.p.!
He trucked his car from Rhode Island and is staying a few weeks in our fair city. For all the vanners with vans in hibernation, we hit the 70's today. Global warming has it's advantages...
