Nice and Loud !!!! LOL .... Going by todays standards out on the water .. it aint much ... but it's all mine ... and it don't cost a fortune just sitting there ... my buddie has a Magic Power boat .. that costs a thousand dollars a month ... that's just not for me .. even if I could afford something like that !!!!

Re: todays random image (part #4)
now that’s unique. I bet that makes for a quick engine R&R. just a couple bolts and slide it out the back. what sort of transfer case is that?

Re: todays random image (part #4)
ok, I found the info on that van w/ revers mounted engine. I actually had a pic of it on my screensaver for a while.
http://jalopnik.com/5597588/slims-wheelie-van-know-it-love-it
the reverse mount engine must be so it has a rear weight bias so it can easily do wheelies

Re: todays random image (part #4)
dix, the engine is actually mounted backwards, the shaft off the trans is actually going towards the driver, there is a sort of transfer case that is usually used in boats to do a 180 degree turn so the second DS you see goes back to the rear axle. this forum cuts a bit of the pic off. I opened the pic in another tab to see the whole thing.
also a video of him doing wheelies in it was found
https://youtu.be/txTS6jc0liM
you can see the driveshaft rig here

Re: todays random image (part #4)
There was an early truck at our cruise weekend last summer that had the engine in the back turned around and the transfer case he was using was an early Bronco cast iron transfer case. It was the only thing he could find to handle the power of the small block that was pushing some 5oo horses. He said haveing a light food would be an understatement...lol.

That's what happens when you're broke. You go to the salvage yard and build your project with the cheapest junk you can get your hands on.
