first camping trip in van, didnt let the rain or bad foot stop us. rained 90% of the time so i put up a tarp. my 'to do' list got bigger, exhaust fumes are getting in, brakes are week and broke the turn signal on the way home. i knew when i bought it that things would keep coming up for a while, just hope to get ahead of it eventually.

Took the van on a shake down cruise today, 180 mile joy ride around central Florida. Van ran great, 16 miles to the gallon. Only problem was the xo#%&xo lovebugs. !80 miles and 1800 love bugs splatered on the van.

The guages come with al the sensors. The fuel sender is mounted with 4 screws, so I had to put a backer plate in the tank. I used the old fuel pick up in the original location. My tank dad soo much rust that I cut it in half to blast it. Welded a 2" band in side of cut and then opened the cut about 1 1/2", gives aboit 4 gallons more fuel. Then lined it with Eastwoods tank liner. No peaks as yet.

I used to think they only liked my yellow 55 truck, but they sure made a mess on the red van ! Oh well at lest we can still afford gas at $3.89 here.

thanks guys, no two tone. thats the color.same for the outside but with flames. thats is far as im going on the inside, the rast will be coverd up. @#$ paint aint cheep................
