    This would get my carb off the side of the doghouse, or push it into it..? It looks like it turns the carb too, maybe bump into the valve cover. Wish I had one to test fit. I guess you could flip it upside down so it goes either way.

    was just looking at these last week. for 6 banger. brings the carb in a little and back about 8"-9" or upside down and forward same amount. theyre about $150.00. plus $750.00 for carb and intake. no, i decided not to for several reasons. first, way to far to draw fuel, it will hurt low end power but probably good at 9000 rpm, second, 6 banger needs heated intake to run right, the fuel would never stay atomized for that length. its another one of those really good ideas that just dont work. why not just lift your driver side mount a little?

    The problem I was having is my Edelbrock carburetor was so close to the Doghouse that the Throttle and Kick-down cable had to make too tight of a bend. If I turned the carburetor the other way the cables hit the Valve Cover. I went ahead and bought a 2" Carburetor spacer, rotated the Carburetor, and am tweaking the cable bracket for Valve Cover clearance. The Throttle cable is close in length, but I think it will work fine.

    Then last night I came across this and wondered if I should just go that direction, I could move the carburetor forward and get plenty of cable slack. But I also wondered about the fuel puddling up.

    I considered making a cabruretor spacer that had a 3 or 4 inch rise that just shifted over about an inch, but I'm no machinist, and think what I'm doing will be good.

    The manifold adapter is pretty cool though..
