I know on my newer Dodge, there is a code that has been placed under the hood that identifies what color it come from the factory in.

According to my operators manual for the 1967 and 1968 the VIN plate listed all special equipment components except color and tires. Here is a list of all of the colors from the 1968 Manual.

The only documantation is just inspect the truck real close to find original paint. Check under the dash. Behind the heater box is the best. You have to remove it. But then you know what color your truck was at birth!

i saw someone post here not long ago a web site that had color tabs by vehicle and year, i cant remember where it was... found out mine is actually "Arctic Blue".

So what gears do you have in yours?? I know that with mine, you can really get off the line, but boy the top end gets there pretty fast..

haha I know whatcha mean! I'm not really sure what gears I have in mine, I've never checked. A previous owner put in the 318, not me.
