How to embed a youtube video into a post

I, with my limited amount of knowledge, am trying to figure out how to 'embed' a youtube video into a post.
I think I've tried every possible way, exceptin' the correct one! Can anybody help?

under the vid on youtube clock the "share" button copy the url displayed (or grab it from the address bar at the top)

from this site you will see a button that looks like a film strip about 2/3 the way across the tool bar above where I am typing now, click that and paste the url in the box that pops up.

I don't see a 'filmstrip'! There's bold, italics, underline, quote, code, host an image, image, link, text colors, emoticons, others, and text formating. How come I don't have the 'filmstrip' thingie?

HA! I just found it!!! I have always done the quick reply at the bottom of a page. I just hit 'post reply' and there's all kinds of stuff to click on there!!!
