    Post by 1966G10 Sun Jan 16, 2011 1:23 pm

Hi Everyone, I recently took out my water pump, thermostat and the housing and the alternator. I was putting it all ball together and noticed that there is a hole that is threaded, but I don't know what goes there. Its located next to the thermostat on the right side. Could someone please help me out!?
.. I don't know how to add an image otherwise i would

Yeah. Its right next to the thermostat housing. There are the 2 holes that are diagonal from each other. Where it Bolts the housing on. But the one that is far to the right. Underneath the far right one.

That's an Accessory bolt hole. Don't worry about it. If your planning on putting in power steering later remember it!

I like to take pictures of things as I take them apart. Sometimes we don't get back to our projects as soon as we would like too, plus old age!

Ditto on what Eagle says,, I have taken numerous reference pics and used them! especially on wiring hook ups and stuff that I know I will forget.

On Craigslist. I traded a 1973 John Deere 112 lawn tractor for it.
