Re: A day at the Pick-a-Part
scott apparently pick a part isn't like pull a part, after a few months pull a part goes thru marks rows and takes whats on the row to the crusher, old , new, vintage no matter.

It just sounded better then Junk Yard, which is what we normally call them around here. It's really several acres of cars with a few homes buried in the trees, the guys live and work there.

Re: A day at the Pick-a-Part
Only two G vans..
But I'm partial to them, so I took lots of pictures.
The Doghouses look decent, I really didn't look close, but from what I saw it's light rust and small pitting in both vans.
Strange to see an vertical radiator in a 2nd Gen. van, but that's what the braces look like in this one.
Different looking mirror, my wife grabbed it for our van.
I was looking for different transmission hangers but didn't find it on either of these, the floor looks pretty good though.

Re: A day at the Pick-a-Part
I was looking at the Dodge pictures after I posted them and wondered if I saw the same mirror. It's cut off in the picture, but there's enough there.
Here's the Google Map link, take a look and you will see how everything is just kind of tossed out there.

Re: A day at the Pick-a-Part
Could you imagine having a free pass to a place like this for a whole weekend?
