UK Young Uns Shed Project, Custom steering wheel !

Hello and Hello to Alll ,
Im Joe Im 24 Im in norfolk in the UK and Im a motorbike and engineering enthusiast. Have been since I was about ten . I live in my shed pretty much, much like a hermit.

Im working on a project at the moment I thought Id post it on here because vintage vans and restoration might tickle my fancy and it might kinda tie in.

Ive butchered a wood lathe and made up a freaky little system of jiggery to make steering wheels made out of chains. My fabrication skills are medium so I can tweek em however I like.

This was round one with a ford transit wheel.



And this was round two which is on ebay atm for a vw golf !!



What do yoou think? What do you think I should tweek about them ? do you think anyone would buy any? I dont really know much about the van restoration scene but I was thinking of making chain gear changers to go with em. Anyway feedback much apreciated

Nice work, The only problem with selling them I see is shipping from the UK. We have a few members from Europe & UK here, but most are from the US

Agreed, I think it might cost £ 30 GBP posteage probably to ship to the US
Its not that much really though. I happily spend loads on posteage when I buy shiny tid bits for my motorbikes LOL.

Ill have to look into it.
