my new dash custom cover Empty my new dash custom cover

I got it last night From Dennis Farris. It is mirrored stainless steel on one side and regular stainless on the other. The pics below show the regular stainless since the mirrored side is covered wits plastic but you can get an idea of what i am doing. It will cover the entire dash eliminating the ash tray and glove box all together. These dash covers can be screwed on, or put on with two way tape or velcro. The one pics show a seven inch screen but there will be two screens. One for a backup camera and the other for navigation. I hope not to have to cut any holes since the screens can mount in the dash or attach to the surface of the dash with velcro or two way tape. It would look better in dash but I just hate to cut holes in that beautiful mirrored stainless steel. I may have to though for the aircraft toggle switches but I hope to come up with a better way.

Dennis is having an insert made of the same mirrored stainless to put inside the dog house lid to show off the motor at car shows. If it comes out like we think then they may become available to anyone with a Chevy, Dodge or Econo. I will post pics when I get it and an approximate price The dash covers are available now in at least two lengths. I have something that I think some of you may want but I need to get them on my van before I can show them to you. They are way cool in my opinion.

Which one did you get? The 3/4 or half dash cover. I ordered a full length cover custom made

Mine is the one that goes almost to the glove box, so it covers both the ashtray and speaker grill. The only holes in mine are for the guages and lights, ignition switch and wiper stalks. I think I'm going to mount it with double stick tape.

I am thinking of velcro or double sided tape myself.

I velcro'd my XM to dash of big truck for easy in/out.Small strips held good for me and not unsightly when not there either.Just my .02

Awesome! I may do the same with the Grimstone van! Dash is pretty chewed up.

well I got my new dash cover in today. Had to loosen up the padded dash to do it but when the padded dash is tightened back down the dash cover doesn't move and two sided tape will hold the bottom down nicely
