Re: cup holder/console pics
I don't have any pics, but I made cupholders out of chrome center caps. I used a neodymium magnet on the inside bottom of each. With 80lb magnets, I can panic stop and not spill my coffee. I also put some felt on the bottom so they don't scratch the doghouse.

Don, that looks really cool with it being color matched to the dash and stuff! Snarky, that sounds like a bitchin idea too. I would be stoked to see a pic of that..Are they center caps like on rally rims or what?

Here's my cup holders. Got them at Wal Mart in the bike section. Sold under the Bell Helmets label. Very simple and they will not collect crap in the bottoms. LOL.

Duane,
You need to start a thread and post some pics of the new interior. The little bit that can be seen here looks good!

Duane, that's brilliant! I can do up my van like a modern SUV... "It's got twenty cup-holders"... well, a few strategic locations for tailgating and such seems prudent!

Re: cup holder/console pics
Hi Carl,
I've been thinking about a thread on it. I was posting about it on my Road Trip thread but that kinda petered out somewhere in PA. We didn't get it finished before we had to leave for Carlisle so I never finished posting about it then. Fred sent me the rest of the parts just a couple of weeks after we got home. I developed some carb issues on the trip and had to work on that when I got home. Didn't want my leaky accerator pump burning down my new interior. :-( Got that fixed then I wasn't happy with my seat mounts. Right side leaned a little and sat in the stock location. I had to move the drivers seat back four inches to make room for my award winning belly. That left the seats uneven so I moved the right seat back as well. That took a couple days worth of thinking and another couple days of welding seat brackets. That got them linned up. Between the heat, work, and family things, I just got everything back together last Sunday. I did take a bunch of pics but I think I'm going to wait until after the Midsouth Meet. You are just going to have to wait until then to see it. I can not say enough about Freds work. Just a couple of conversations over the phone about what I had in mind and he hit it right on the head. Exactly what I wanted. His workmanship is excellent. Price was very fair. I couldn't be more pleased. Anybody need interior work? Go see Fred!! He can do it!! Plus, He's a great host as well.

Re: cup holder/console pics
Nice Ideas, this makes for a good DIY Custom Cupholder. I don't like the OEM offerings of today. Back in the day, I used to have a 6X4 Beer Holder on the back of my van under an icebox.
Where can I buy these!? Haha.

Re: cup holder/console pics
Don't be fooled...you never know how long this kind of cup holder will last....my last one lasted 15 years but had to trade it in for a newer model...hope this one will last longer
