Re: wheres the fuse box ?
ford econoline should be attached to the headlight switch... it is made as the plug for it.... silly, I know, but true....

Re: wheres the fuse box ?
to get the headlight switch out you need to grope around and find the button on the switch body. then you can pull the shaft out. undo the screwed in collet and the switch body will fall down. carefully move the thing out from behind the dash so that all the old wires dont get buggered up. the fuse box is piggybacked onto the switch body. its retarded.

Re: wheres the fuse box ?
When i ripped out the old wiring in mine, i was looking everywhere for the fusebox, and couldn't believe what somebody actually designed for that van.

Re: wheres the fuse box ?
I have just finished doing exactly that today. It makes life so much easier in the long run, and now i know there will be no fires. I had a fire in my 1970 Mustang fastback a couple of years ago. It wasn't much fun when the interior filled with black smoke in about half a second....!!! The passengers in the back were petrified, as they couldn't get out until we got out, and i was trying to beat out the flames with my hand...!!
Anyway, have a look at my thread in the projects section, you can see where i put my fuseboard....
