    Hi everyone,

    I've been a lurker here for a while now but I just picked up my first van (1966 Sportsman) last week, so I figured I should officially join in on the fun. I have had a "few" custom rides over the years, but I have never had a van, so I am really looking forward to this new project. I am warning all of you in advance...I have a lot of questions! Also, as much as I appreciate all the work and effort that goes into a restored vehicle, I am warning all you traditionalists that I am not much of a "stock" guy so you may think some of my ideas or choices are crazy Shocked ...but I'm ok with that.

    Pics are taken 5 minutes before I bought her.

    The couple I bought her from are the nicest people!

    They have taken good care of her over the last 15 years.

    She needs a bit of work, but I think it's a great starting point.

    Bought her in NorCal and drove her back up I-5 last week.

    She runs like a champ (stock 318/727)...and yes, she has A/C!
