Newbie. 65 GMC
I will be picking up my new van in 2 weeks. I am so excited! My wife thinks there is something seriously wrong with me. I been on this forum and any site with info on earlies every night for 2 weeks straight. What a bunch of cool, friendly, and knowledgable people on this site. I look forward to working with you all and hopefully meeting at a rally someday.

Now I am the proud owner 21K original miles minor rust! Runs great. Looking for so help with Trim and paint codes can anyone tell me were to find that info?

Re: Newbie. 65 GMC
LOVE THEM SEATS!
Sweet looking engine too!........all there.
Now send me that air breather!
LOL
First thing I would do is apply rust converter to the entire underside..........then coat it all underneath with truck bed liner paint or rubberized under-coating .
The underside is everything!
I love this stuff--->

It will take all that surface rust and convert it and it won't rust more. IT WORKS!....use it a bunch on old British cars I redo.
Then paint over it.
That thing is a cherry.............keep it that way.

Gatorhawk, 61encoline,
If you guys hear of any events make sure you post them. I'm up in Fernandina beach, Fl. Maybe we all can get together this summer.
